Our Red Wiggler Earthworms are raised in incubators, specifically designed to control temperature and pH level to insure healthy thriving specimens ready for you to take home. WE GOT WORMS is located in McMinnville, Oregon where the mild climate is perfect for medium scale worm production. We are a family owned business that's small enough to give personal attention to every detail. At least one week before harvesting, we leach our peat moss to remove harmful acids in preparation delivery. The peat moss packed with worms provides them with bedding and a food source to sustain them until they get to their destination. We only use peat moss that is free of cedar and pine that would be toxic to the worms and insure that it's damp, not wet, in order for the worms to be happy.
